MaxiVista® turns your Laptop into a Dual Monitor

MaxiVista® turns your Laptop into a Dual Monitor
Flight Simulation enthusiasts never can have enough viewing space to display all the window views, GPS, navigation or communication panels or flight maps.

Instead of purchasing expensive additional monitors and pricey multi-output VGA cards, a new software application MaxiVista now allows using up to three Laptops as additional multi monitors of your primary PC.

Even dated Windows 98 PCs can find a new and useful purpose as an additional monitor.

No additional hardware required

MaxiVista overcomes the limitation that computers do not have VGA inputs, and thus normally cannot be used as a monitor. The patent-pending software solution includes a virtual graphics adapter which fakes the primary PC into believing that there is an additional monitor display installed. The screen content of this extra display is transmitted to the secondary PC via a Wireless LAN or Ethernet connection.

Support of up to 12,800 x 1,200 pixels

MaxiVista can link up to four computers to create a giant workspace of up to 12,800x1,200 pixels screen resolution. Furthermore, the screen content of the primary PC can be mirrored to another PC screen via any network connection.

A multi-lingual 30 days trial version can be downloaded from www.maxivista.com. The full version cost US$49.95.

Congonhas Airport to the last detail!

Congonhas Airport to the last detail!
The Worldsceneries team is very proud to announce the official release of Congonhas Airport, the most recent Worldsceneries product, the most hard-working add-on for FS 2004 ever created. That's great news! Isn't it?

Although 'Congonhas Airport' is not considered a large airport, the developers were required some complex and specific knowledge to recreate it virtually to the last detail. It is located in the central region of Sao Paulo city, it has an intense air traffic because of the shuttle service. This intense air-traffic, all the vertical buildings around the airport, beside all the weather changes, these all demand specific skills and you also need to know about all the landing system.

It is available in CD-ROM retail package and by Download. You can make purchases online at http://www.simmarket.com (in addition to our homepage http://www.worldsceneries.com just by download ).

Through this link you can see its features and also the screenshots:

Lago Press Release

Emma Field 2004, expected for Wednesday 12th May
The long awaited Emma Field 2004 will be released on the 12th of may. Emma Field is a very special and innovative product. It is a SIMULATION of everything that goes on at a small airfield. Far more than just scenery, it includes the activities, sights, and sounds of daily life on the field. From the quiet winter days when only the local FBO is doing its flying business, to the busy summer weekends when the glider pilots drive up to the airport with their trailers. Even the relaxed summer evenings when the barbeque at the Flying Club is lit for the people who stay overnight. All events will be started at the correct day and time and will depend on the weather (real time weather is advised). That means that the airport will be very quiet on a stormy winter Monday morning but in full swing on a sunny, warm August Saturday.

To enhance the feeling of the actual ‘living’ field there are many sound effects that play, depending on location, event and time. You’ll hear the birds in the woods, the laughter of people drinking beer at the barbeque, the sounds of Fritz working in the hangar, and much more. If you land on the Lake Cushman, you will find a floatplane jetty maintained by Emma Field FBO, you will hear the waves and the frogs.

More informations about Emma Field 2004 product page.

It is with great pride that Flight Factory Simulations, LLC, announces the hiring of Bob Jones as a full time painter. FFS Offers Help And Lets Users In On Design Process

FFS Offers Help And Lets Users In On Design Process
FFS is proud to announce we have opened specific rooms in our forum to allow FS users in need of help in either gauge design or aircraft modeling to ask the FFS team questions. We will do our best to attend to each post, since we believe interaction with the community is a big part of being an FS developer, and also because all of us were beginners, and got lots of help from other people, so we are just extending the gesture.

In related news, Fabio Miguez has started a 15-thread series covering the entire development process of an FS add-on, where he explains the inner workings of each stage. FFS has been getting feedback from the community that there is a general curiosity as to what it really means to be an FS developer, so he decided to take some time and share a great amount of information. The first chapter, "Why Not This One?", is already up. To reach it go to www.ffs-sim.com and click on Forum, then go into the FS Add-On Development 101 room.
